More oil; less water; less gas; and increased oil recovery.
– Better for the Economics and Better for the Environment.
– This is what AICV® technology achieves.
InflowControl are the inventors of the world’s most effective autonomous inflow control technology for upstream oil and gas wells – the AICV® (Autonomous Inflow Control Valve).
The technology makes it possible to maximize well production far more efficiently than ever before. The AICV® eliminates the gas and water breakthrough problems and supports ‘Making Better Wells’.
Leaders in Autonomous Inflow Control Technology: InflowControl has industry experts which have leading experience in developing Autonomous Inflow Control Technology. InflowControl was founded by Dr. Vidar Mathiesen (CEO), Haavard Aakre (CTO) and Bjørnar Werswick (COO) who invented the AICV®. Vidar and Haavard were the inventors of the RCP-AICD in 2006 which is owned by Equinor and licensed out to multiple vendors for use.
AICV® technology eliminates the gas and water breakthrough problems and supports 'Making Better Wells' by shutting off or choking high GOR and WC zones autonomously yet remains open for oil zones.
InflowControl announces that Steven Fipke has been appointed as Vice President - North and South America.
InflowControl and a Major Operator made history in August 2015 with the first global installation of the industry’s game-changing autonomous inflow control technology, the AICV®. Five years later, the well continues good performance and marks an exciting anniversary for InflowControl.
InflowControl announces that Vitaly Shkred has been appointed Sr. Regional Manager - Business Development, for RUS/CIS.
InflowControl are proud to have been nominated as one of three finalists for the 2020 ADIPEC AWARDS, “Breakthrough Technological Project of the Year”.
A major oilfield in the Middle East which has been on production for several years has significant water control issues. The reservoir is a sandstone, mature waterflood play. Newly drilled wells typically started their production life with 60-80% water cut (WC) and quickly this number increased to 80-90% WC within the first 6-8 months of coming on line. The operator had issues managing the high water production and due to this, significant oil remained by-passed and the oil production per well was greatly suppressed and total oil recovery reduced.
A major oilfield in the Middle East that has a major gas cap and has been on production since the 1960’s has gas communication through its fracture network. The operator had aggressive gas breakthrough throughout the field and many of the wells also suffered from a large increase in water production.
A major carbonate oilfield in the Middle East had significant gas communication through its fracture network. The operator had significant gas breakthrough and the high GOR (gas oil ratio) made the well un-producible. The operator had to shut-in the well, leaving significant oil reserves and production stranded.
