The contract includes 34 process analysis systems with the associated sample preparations and chillers. Thanks to efficient production planning, the handing of the delivery for the Jubail project was implemented successfully and on time. Along with success factors such as quality, expertise and experience, BARTEC BENKE’s outstanding consulting and strong customer orientation were crucial in winning what is currently the largest contract for process analysis and system integration in the market, with a seven fi gure contract volume.
The Tüpras refinery, the largest industrial company in Turkey, is planning extensive construction and modernization measures with an investment volume of 4.2 billion US dollars by 2014. Approximately half is planned to be used for new investments. The current project deals with the modernization of the gasoline blender in Izmit. The contract with BARTEC BENKE includes several different process analysis systems for a variety of applications which largely come from its own product portfolio. Furthermore, several third party devices will be integrated, a service which is also part of the range of offers from BARTEC BENKE. Five analysis units, including the sample preparation and system integration, are also part of the contract.
"With this major project and its successful execution, we have further cemented our position as the most important provider in
process analysis technology," says Dr. Serdar Ertong, Managing Director of BARTEC BENKE. "The Tüpras project also offers us
an entry into the emerging Turkish market. We are well equipped for further challenges in this strategically important region."
